CR41
Multimedia Laptop from MSI-Micro-Star
International, popular also as MSI, has just revealed the latest lineup of its
multimedia notebook series with the new MSI CR41. It is part of the company’s
step to refresh its C-series, instead of just getting though with updates. The
CR41 appears just a week after the announcement of the CX61 or CR61 last week
made by the Taiwanese vendor.
The CR41
multimedia notebook comes with a 14-inch screen, making it quite a portable
laptop for the users. This is 1.6-inch smaller than the previously announced
CX61/CR61 with its 15.6-inch display. At the inside, there will be an Intel
Core i processor working, though there is no specific variants yet since the
MSI CR41 will be available with different types of processors. In terms of its
operating system, the CR41 is offered by default with Windows 7, though the
notebook has been manufactured to be ready with Windows 8, as the company
stated.
Along with
the Intel Core i processor and Windows 7 operating system, there are also other
features that may be questioned or part of thought to the buyers in common.
They include a 13366x768 (16:9) LED display, an Ivy Bridge CPU and integrated
graphics, as well as a DVD Super Multi optical disc drive. In terms of its
storage capacity, the MSI CR41 features an up to 720 GB hard-drive storage. In
addition, there are Intel 802.11 b/g/n Bluetooth V4.0, two USB 3.0 ports, two
USB 2.0 ports and HDMI 1.4 on the CR41’s tapered profile, which resembles a
sports car. To make it more interesting, the MSI CR41 multimedia laptop, like
the CX61/CR61, is equipped with a 6-cell 4,400 mAh battery which is claimed by
the company to be able to last for as long as 7.5 hours under optimum
conditions.
Just one
thing that the interested customers need to do – be patient. It is because the
company has yet to release the price and the date of its launch.
