September
Well, iPad lovers, we would
like to tell you about this good news. You know, as we heard from Plugged-in
KGI analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo that iPad Mini is going to have its first world debut
after the release of the fifth generation of the iPhone. The surprise from the
analyst was covered with MacRumors and says that the debut of the smaller iPad
will follow the release of the iPhone 5in the same month. Hopefully you’ll have enough scratch left in your bank
account following all of your glamorous summer vacations to afford two new
gadgets from a company that excels at making gadgets.
Well,
suppose an iPad Mini does pop up in September, the analyst is anticpating heavy
demand. He has already projecting unit sales of 1.8 million just for the few
short weeks marking the end of the calendar third quarter. And in the fourth
quarter, the new iPad could grab sales as high as 13 million, surpassing those
of its bigger brother. The fourth quarter will be a
bounty hunting expedition- with iPhone sales to soar above 55 million and iPad
sales to touch about 34 million.
Moreover, he is also eyeing changes to the 9.7-inch iPad, namely some
internal modifications to resolve thermal issues and to cut costs. Those
changes are expected in the third quarter but won't be noticed by consumers.
After the sumptuous launch of
the iPad 3 featuring the fabulous retina screen, Apple is not showing any signs
of slowing down yet and will bring out the newest iPhone early September
followed by the debut of smaller iPad gadgets that will be possiblly a low
profile affair.
